Genetics of Breast Cancer

Genes associated to cancer and genetics of those are believed to be one of the reason for the mortality rate ranging from 5-10%. Women or mothers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 50 are more likely to pass on the genes to their offspring's and can be affected genetically throughout the generation. Genes BRCA1 & BRCA2 are two of them associated with the genetics of Breast Cancer. The risk of breast cancer above the age of 80 and the mortality rate varies from 4-5%.
